Lately, many doubts have arisen regarding the statement: “Only Islam will enter Paradise.”
All teachings in Islam can be justified, including this statement. It implies that we are encouraged to think logically and seek which religion is truly correct.
Just like in mathematics, if there is a question: 1 + 1 equals what? And the options are: a. 2, b. 3, c. 4, d. 5, the correct answer is obviously a. 2. Any other answer would be incorrect. Similarly, in the context of religion, if only one religion is true and leads to Paradise, then that religion is the correct one.
That religion is Islam. Why? Because only Islam can be justified through logic. If we compare it with other religions, there are usually aspects that are difficult to accept rationally. For example, in Christianity, Jesus is considered God. Logically, it is hard to understand how God could not prevent the Roman soldiers from crucifying Him.
Another example is in Hinduism, where some beliefs suggest that God nurses from a cow. Logically, God cannot depend on His creation.
If we compare all religions, which one is entirely logical? Almost all religions have aspects that are difficult to reconcile with reason, except Islam.
One of the main things that makes Islam logical is its concept of God. Islam teaches the belief in Allah, the One and Only God. Allah’s existence cannot be seen with the eyes, but it can be felt by the heart. The evidence of Allah’s existence is reflected in the creation of the universe. Without God, nothing in the universe could exist, because nothing can create itself. As Allah says:
وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ
“Indeed, Allah created you and all that you do.” (QS. As-Shaffat: 96)
From this, Islam can be justified through human reasoning.
Therefore, it is reasonable to say that the true religion and the only one that leads to Paradise is Islam.
